JOHN sprints toward a small elevator. He dives in, slams the just in time. The two lock eyes. John's face drops. The elevator door closed

INT. INSIDE OF THE ELEVATOR - LATER
They stand stiffly on opposite sides. Mike stares straight at the glowing floor numbers. John sweats. A lot. John reaches into his pocket. Pulls out a can of Polar Seltzer. He opens it and take a sip. Mike's head turns toward him by the sound. He sees the can. John notices the glance. He turns to Mike, with a hard, fake smile.
JOHN: (offering) Do you … Want?
Mike looks at the can top that has been drunk from by John, feeling confused and disgusted.
MIKE: No thank you
Mike turns his head immediately to escape from the scene. John also looks the other way, trying to see where the elevator is. The elevator display shows "10th Floor"
SUPER: Small talk is Complex. Polar is Not.

LILY and DANIEL are sitting on the sofa watching movie. They sit at two opposite sides of the sofa far away from each other. Lily is overdressed. Daniel looks like he forgot it was a date.
Daniel is fully intrigue by the movie, but Lily is getting bored of it. The movie plays on a scene Daniel like, he tries to reach out Lily to let her pay attention. When he turns to find Lily, bored Lily have a awkward eyes match with Daniel exciting eyes.
A beat
LILY: Do you have any thing to drink? Like Polar?
DANIEL: Yeah
Daniel slide his body to reach the can, but his eyes still facing the TV. He passes the can to Lily.
Lily opens can and start to drink.
DANIEL: Leave me some, that’s the last one.
Lily hears that, chug it.
SUPER: Dating is Complex. Polar is Not.
